Golden Bears To Host Beavers Sept. 28, 2024, Travel To Corvallis Aug. 30, 2025
The California and Oregon State football teams have agreed to play a pair of nonconference football games against each other in 2024 and 2025. The Golden Bears will host the Beavers in Berkeley on Sept. 28, 2024, before making a trip to Corvallis on Aug. 30, 2025.
The games will continue a series that started in 1905 when Oregon State was known as the "Oregon Aggies" with the Bears holding a 39-37 all-time advantage. The teams first played against each other in a league game in 1917 as members of the Pacific Coast Conference and have faced off in conference games as members of the Pac-10 (1995-2010) or Pac-12 (2011-23) in every season since 1995. The teams last met in a nonconference contest in 1960 when Oregon State was an independent.
