Cal running back Jaydn Ott announced Friday morning that he will return to Cal for the 2024 season. Ott has produced numbers over his first two seasons with the Golden Bears that make him a viable candidate for the Heisman Trophy when the 2024 season kicks off next August.

– Has rushed 229 times for 1,260 yards with 11 touchdowns on the ground (all career highs), while adding 21 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdown catches, as well as one kick return for 100 yards and one touchdown on his lone career kick return at any level of football to total a career-high 1,501 all-purpose yards, as well as a career-high 14 touchdowns overall
