Pac-12 Network To Televise Sept. 30 Home Contest Against Sun Devils

BERKELEY – The California football team's next home game and first Pac-12 contest of the season at California Memorial Stadium on Sept. 30 against Arizona State will kick off at Noon PT and air on the Pac-12 Network.

Cal leads the all-time series against the Sun Devils, 18-17. The teams have played just once since the 2016 season, when the Sun Devils were a 24-17 winner in Berkeley in 2019. The teams were not in each other's Pac-12's scheduling rotation in 2017-18 and 2021-22, while their 2020 contest was canceled due to COVID-19. Arizona State has won two in a row, also winning a 2016 meeting in Tempe, 51-41. The Golden Bears' last victory was a 48-46 triumph at home in 2015.

Both Arizona State (1-2) and Cal (2-1) open their Pac-12 slates this Saturday with the Sun Devils hosting No. 5 USC (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) and the Bears visiting No. 8 Washington (3-0).

The kickoff times and television broadcast information for all of Cal's remaining regular-season games are scheduled to be announced either six or 12 days in advance. Visit CalBears.com to purchase tickets and find out more information about Cal's entire slate of 2023 games, and check out the Cal Athletic Fund online to support the Cal football program via the Championship CALiber initiative.
