Overbeck, Dean Advance To Tiburon Quarterfinals
TIBURON – The California men's tennis pair of
Theo Dean and
Carl Emil Overbeck won its doubles opener at the Tiburon Challenger on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals at the Tiburon Peninsula Club.

The Golden Bears – ranked 25th at the collegiate level – defeated professional players Christian Langmo and Bernard Tomic 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 16. The duo will next face Kody Pearson and Joshua Sheehy on Thursday at 11 a.m. PT in the tournament, an event on the ATP Challenger Tour.
