TIBURON – California men's tennis veterans Carl Emil Overbeck and Theo Dean won in the Tiburon Challenger doubles quarterfinals Thursday to advance to the semifinals of the ATP Challenger.
 
The Golden Bears beat Kody Pearson and Joshua Sheehy 6-2, 7-6(5), with the Bears posting a 5-0 advantage in aces and collecting 75% of their first-serve points.
 
The duo – which has not lost a set in two matches – plays Luke Saville and Tristan Schoolkate in Friday's semifinals at a time to be announced.
