KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii – The No. 19 California women's golf team is set for its second competition of the spring season this week at the Pac-12 Preview.

The three-day, Stanford-hosted tournament – which typically takes place during the final week of the fall season – consists of a 12-team field that includes nine schools from the Pac-12. The field was expanded this year with the additions of Mountain West schools San Diego State and San Jose State.

Six teams boasting top-20 national rankings (Spikemark) will be competing on the par-73, 6,449-yard course at Nanea Golf Club. Joining the Golden Bears in that group are No. 2 Stanford, No. 4 USC, No. 6 UCLA, No. 18 San Jose State and No. 20 Arizona.

Cal has found success this season when pitted against some of its highest-ranked opponents. In their final fall competition in October, the Bears finished four strokes ahead of UCLA while tying Stanford for third place at the Stanford Intercollegiate with a 2-over-par 854 team score. Several weeks earlier, Cal also defeated the Cardinal 4-3 in the Big Match.

At the Molly Invitational in late September, the Bears moved past San Jose State on the final day and set a program record with a collective 28-under over three rounds to win its first of three straight competitions.

Cal's Pac-12 Preview lineup brings back four Bears who competed at the Collegiate Invitational earlier this month. Senior Mika Jin and sophomore Anna Molloy will be making their spring debuts.
