LOUISVILLE, KY. – California men's gymnast Noah Newfeld finished competition at the Winter Cup on Sunday afternoon, competing in four events to place 23rd with a two-day total of 130.000 points.

Newfeld once again started off well on parallel bars, adding a 14.100 to Friday's 14.200 to finish ninth on the event – the highest on any of his career Winter Cup routines. He followed that up with 13.000s on floor and still rings while adding a 12.200 on pommel horse, opting not to do a vault or high bar routine.

The Golden Bears will return to Haas Pavilion on Sunday, March 3, to host Nebraska, Air Force and Stanford for Senior Day. Newfeld is one of eight seniors who will be honored following the meet.
