The California women's swimming & diving team had 15 student-athletes selected for the 2024 NCAA Division I championships on Wednesday morning, tied for the second-most in the country along with Texas.

The 15 swimmers will compete in a combined 24 events, and the Golden Bears also qualified for all five relays. The 24 events are the fourth most of any team in the nation.

Graduate student Mia Motekaitis and junior Leah Polonsky lead the way with three races each while senior Isabelle Stadden, graduate students Rachel Klinker, Hannah Brunzell and Eloise Riley and junior Alicia Henry will each compete in two events.

Stadden is the highest-seeded Cal swimmer at No. 2 in both the 100-yard and 200 backstroke. Stadden has finished in the top five of the 200 back every year of her collegiate career and in the top 10 in the 100 back.
