Minnesota To Sign Matthew Cindric As UDFA

Cindric 1 Of 3 Golden Bears Team To Join NFL Rosters On Saturday

Former California offensive lineman Matthew Cindric will sign an undrafted free agent contract with the Minnesota Vikings according to Cindric

Cindric was one of three players from Cal's 2023 team to have been added to an NFL roster on Saturday and one of two undrafted free agents along with inside linebacker Jackson Sirmon (New York Jets).

Patrick McMorris was selected Saturday in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins with the 198th pick overall. Cal has now had at least one player taken in the NFL Draft in 36 of the last 38 years and 81 of 89 overall since the first NFL Draft in 1936. McMorris was the 247th Cal player selected in the history of the NFL Draft and the Golden Bears' 255th pick in either the NFL or AFL Draft, with eight players taken in the latter that ran from 1960-69.

The three-day 2024 NFL Draft being held around Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit concluded Saturday.
