The Cal­ifornia football team takes to the road for its first ACC game with a 4 p.m. PT kickoff at Doak S. Campbell Stadium. The Golden Bears (3-0) and Seminoles (0-3) will meet for the first time in history.

– Is playing its first ACC game ever and also matching up for the first time against Florida State.
– Began playing football in 1886 and was a member of the Pac-12 - previously known as the PCC, AAWU, Pac-8 and Pac-10 - every season since 1915.
– Has not played in Florida since knocking off Clemson in the 1991 Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Jan. 1, 1992, while its last regular-season game in the Sunshine State was at Miami on Sept. 16, 1989.

– Cal leads the nation with nine interceptions (no other team has more than seven), while ranking tied for the lead in takeaways (10) and tied for second in turnover margin (+8).
– Cal is also in the top 30 as a team in passing efficiency defense (8th, 82.83), fourth-down conversion percentage defense (21st, 22.2%), kickoff return average (T23rd, 24.00), completion percentage (24th, 68.8%), fewest passes intercepted (T25th, 1), time of possession (27th, 32:35), scoring defense (28th, 12.3 ppg) and turnovers lost (T30th, 2).
– DB Nohl Williams leads the nation with four interceptions and is the only player with at least one in each of his first three games. He is also first with seven passes defended.
– DB Craig Woodson is one of 179 players on top of the national list with a single fumble recovery.
– WR Nyziah Hunter is tied for fourth with his four TD catches that also give him a share of the ACC lead.
– DB Marcus Harris is tied for fifth with two interceptions and tied for 24th with four passes defended.
– RB Jaivian Thomas is 10th (and the ACC's leader) with his 7.77 rush yards per carry.
– ILB Teddye Buchanan is tied for 18th with 31 tackles.
– QB Fernando Mendoza is tied for 20th with a career-high 70.1 completion percentage that is 7.1% higher than 2023.
– P Lachlan Wilson is 24th nationally with his 44.4-yard average.
– Cal is one of seven teams with a kickoff return for a touchdown through Week 3. Williams had an 80-yarder against UC Davis in his only kickoff return of the season.
