The No. 18 California women's basketball team (16-3, 4-2 ACC) will look for its second ACC road split during its trip to the Tarheel State when it faces Wake Forest (7-10, 0-6 ACC) at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem on Sunday at 11 a.m. PT.
 
This game marks the fourth meeting between the two programs with Wake Forest owning a 2-1 series advantage with Cal having won the most recent matchup during the 2013-14 season.
 
A win at Wake Forest would match the Bears' road wins total from last year (5), which marked the most under coach Smith.
 
Wake Forest is led by third-year head coach Megan Gebbia who led the team to 17 wins in her first season in 2022-23 - its most since 2011-12. The Deamon Deacons are led by Elise Williams who leads the team in scoring (11.5 points per game) and Malaya Cowles who is the team's leading rebounder (6.0 rebounds per game).

• Krimili needs just six 3-pointers to reach 400 for her career - a milestone only 16 other players in the history of college women's basketball have reached. If she maintains her pace of 3.3 triples per game she can finish in the all-time top 10 list.
• Krimili and Twidale are the best 3-point shooting duo in the nation. Both are tied for sixth in the NCAA with 57 3-pointers each. (through Jan. 17).
• Twidale currently leads all sophomores in the nation in made 3-pointers and is nine up on the next closest player.
