De Jesus Receives Multiple Recognitions
Cal Wide Receiver Named To Honor Roll, Watchlist
California wide receiver Jacob De Jesus has been named to the Week 8 Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll and to the watchlist for the Jet Award, the committees announced Tuesday.
De Jesus, a Manteca native, recorded 13 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown against North Carolina last week. His 13 receptions tied for the sixth-most receptions in a single game by a Cal receiver. In total, De Jesus has caught 47 passes for 406 yards and has three touchdowns this season.
As a returner, De Jesus has averaged 18.5 yards per kick return and 7.3 yards per punt return this season.
