Cal Baseball Unveils 2026 Schedule
54-Game Slate Features 28 At Home
The California baseball team unveiled its 2026 schedule Monday, announcing a 55-game slate that features 30 home games to be played at Stu Gordon Stadium.
Deposits for season tickets are now being accepted by the Cal Athletics Ticket Office.
The Golden Bears' second ACC campaign features a tough slate of opponents including seven 2025 NCAA Regional teams, four Super Regional teams, a College World Series team, and five programs that ended last year ranked in the D1 Baseball Top-25 poll.
Cal opens its season with a four-game home-and-home series with Santa Clara from Feb. 13-16 with the first two games being played in Berkeley and the last two being played at the Broncos' Stephen Schott Stadium. The Bears will then hit the road from Feb. 20-22 for their first true away series against a UC Irvine team that won last year's Big West regular-season title, made it to an NCAA Regional final, and finished the year as the No. 25 team in the country.
ACC play begins on March 13 when North Carolina, the ninth-ranked team in the country that hosted a Super Regional last season, makes its first trip to Stu Gordon Stadium. No. 24 Georgia Tech (April 2-4), which made a regional, and No. 6 Louisville (April 17-19), which won a pair of games at the College World Series, will also be coming to Berkeley for the first time.
Cal's away-conference slate features a regional team in Wake Forest (March 27-29) and a Super-Regional team in Miami (April 24-26), as Cal head coach Nike Neu will return to his alma mater where he won the 1999 College World Series to face the Hurricanes for the first time in a three-game series. The Bears knocked 16th-ranked Miami out of the ACC Championship last season.
The 2026 ACC Championship is scheduled for May 19-25 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and NCAA Regionals begin on May 29.
