2025 Cal Baseball Promotions Announced
Events Begin This Friday With Baseball Is For Lovers On Valentine’s Day
California baseball fans can enjoy a series of fun activities and ticket discounts at Stu Gordon Stadium throughout the 2025 season.
The activities begin with a Baseball Is For Lovers' night at the Stu for the Valentine's Day season opener against Nevada that includes two tickets and a Valentine's Day Gift for only $14. During a 10-game season-opening homestand, the Golden Bears will also host a Little League Night (Wed., Feb. 26 – vs. Cal State Bakersfield) and distribute Chick-fil-a gift cards for the first 200 students through the gate (Fri., Feb. 28 – vs. Santa Clara). Cal will host other activities that run throughout the season including Cal Kids' Day after each of the team's five home Sunday games and autograph sessions after four Saturday contests.
When the Bears return to the Stu on March 11 for a tilt against Utah they will begin a series of Tuesday games that feature discounted tickets for all and the new Trading Card Tuesdays.
The Bears will next celebrate their inaugural season in the ACC on March 14-16 when they host Virginia in a three-game set in their first-ever ACC home games. The ACC Challenge Coin giveaway will take place Friday and Saturday, the Saturday's at the Stu mini-plan for all five ACC Saturday home games will make its debut and there will be a St. Patrick's Day celebration on Sunday.
Other single-game promotional highlights in April include Bark at the Park against Clemson (Saturday, April 5) and Faculty/Staff Night (Thursday, April 17 – vs. NC State).
The team's final six-game homestand will be full of single-game and season-long activities. A with a three-game set on May 9-11 against Florida State features Military Appreciation Day for the Friday opener followed by 510 Day and a Mother's Day celebration. The May 15-17 series against Boston College begins with a Wii Sports Day for Thursday's opening game followed by Fan Appreciation Night and Senior Day.
Cal is coming off a 36-19 campaign in 2024 that was capped with wins in 20 of its final 25 games. The Bears' .655 winning percentage was their best since the 1966 squad was 32-14 (.696). Cal reached the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament and narrowly missed a spot in the NCAA Championship.
