BERKELEY – Nine student-athletes from the California field hockey team received 2024 All-ACC Academic Team honors, announced by the conference on Thursday.
 
Requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

Additionally, 11 Bears were named to the 2024 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Wednesday. The NFHCA recognizes nearly 1,100 undergraduate student-athletes from over 80 institutions on the 2024 Division I National Academic Squad.
 
The NFHCA honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
 
Among the 1,100 student-athletes, Delphine Ayitey-Hammond, Mia Digiulio, Elana Eisenberg (fourth selection), Maya Hoepfner, Morgan Kallmann, Jessica Lewis, Pauline Lingnau, Isabelle Panikowski, Holly Pears, Audrey Post and Olivia Sharratt earned academic squad honors.
