Henveaux Tabbed ACC Co-Swimmer Of The Week

Sets 3 Pool Records In Stellar Performance

California men's swimming graduate student Lucas Henveaux has been tabbed ACC Co-Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season, the conference announced Tuesday.

Henveaux had a record-breaking senior day as he set three records, including two Spieker Aquatic Complex records and one program record. In the meet against No. 9 Stanford, he clocked a 14.29.74 in the 1650-yard freestyle, setting the fastest mark in the country this season while cementing himself atop of Cal's all-time top 10 list in the event.

Following that performance, Henveaux touched first in the 500-yard freestyle at a time of 4:10.82, the third-fastest time in the country.

Cal has now secured three weekly conference honors this season. Junior Joshua Thai has earned ACC Diver of the Week twice, on Nov. 11 and Jan. 1.
