9 Bears Named To All-ACC Academic Team
Cal Tied For Second Most Women’s Basketball Honorees
CHARLOTTE – The Atlantic Coast Conference concluded the 2024-25 women's basketball season with the announcement of this year's All-ACC Academic Team, which included nine Golden Bears. The nine honorees tied for the second most among the conference's 18 member institutions.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Student-athletes must additionally compete in at least 50% of their team's contests.
The nine Bears earning this year's academic recognition are:

- Lola Donez, G, Fr., Undeclared
- Zahra King, G, Fr., Undeclared
- Ioanna Krimili, G, Gr., Education MA
- Michelle Onyiah, C, Gr., Public Health
- Lulu Twidale, G, So., Undeclared
- Marta Suarez, F, Sr., Interdisciplinary Studies
- Kayla Williams, G, Gr., Education MA
Cal is coming off one of its best seasons in recent program history, having earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018-19. The Bears set program records for home wins (16) and 3-pointers made in a season (294).
