The No. 2 California men's rowing team will co-host the Cal/Stanford Invitational alongside the Cardinal this weekend in Redwood Shores. The event features several dual races and brings in some of the top crews in the country in No. 1 Washington, No. 17 Wisconsin, No. 20 UC San Diego and No. 22 Oregon State, as well as Santa Clara.
 
Races begin Saturday morning at 9 a.m. PT and continues Sunday morning at 9:10 a.m. PT.
 
The Golden Bears' V8+, 2V8+, 3V8+, 4V8+, 5V8+ and freshmen 8+ will compete in duals against Wisconsin, UCSD, Oregon State and Santa Clara. 
 
Cal faced Wisconsin and Oregon State in last year's Pac-12 Challenge where the Bears' V8+ and 2V8+ defeated the Badgers and the 3V8+ and 5V8+ beat both opponents.
 
The Bears are coming off last weekend's San Diego Crew Classic where the freshmen 8+ won the varsity 8+ Cal Cup and took second place in the Anderson Borthwick Memorial Trophy race – less than one second behind winner Club Nautico De San Juan.
