The No. 2 California men's rowing team will face off against No. 6 Stanford in the 91st edition of the Big Row on Saturday at Redwood Shores in Redwood City. The Bears own a 71-19 record in the series that dates back to 1902 and have won 10 straight matchups. Last year, Cal swept both the first and second varsity races. The teams will be racing for the Schwabacher Cup given to the winner of the varsity eight race.

Racing will begin at 9 a.m. PT and will conclude with the final race that is slated to start at 10:20 a.m. Conditions are expected to be windy so the schedule of races may change.

The Bears will race their first and second varsity eights against Stanford.

Cal is coming off a dual with then-No. 2 Washington where the Bears' freshmen 8+ and 4V8+ notched wins and the V8+ lost on the last stroke of its race to get edged out by a half-second.

All races will be live streamed via the Overnght platform HERE and results will be posted HERE.

These will be the last set of races before the team prepares for its first-ever MPSF Championships on May 17-18 at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.

Race Schedule (all times PST and subject to change)
