Cal Travels To San Jose State, Hosts Pacific, Florida State

The California softball team (26-10) will play five games this week, beginning with two midweek contests before hosting No. 9/10 Florida State for a three-game series at Levine-Fricke Field this weekend.
 
The Golden Bears open week 10 of the 2025 season with a road game at San Jose State on Tuesday, followed by a home game against Pacific on Wednesday. The three-game set with the Seminoles – the first head-to-head meeting between the programs in 10 years – begins Friday and extends through the weekend.

  • On Feb. 26, Acacia Anders was named the ACC Player of the Week after a stellar performance at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. At the event, Anders hit at a .625 (10-for-16) clip with six RBIs, collecting five runs, four doubles and two walks while totaling a .875 slugging percentage. In two of the last three games against LMU and Northwestern, she recorded three hits and had recorded a hit in seven consecutive games at the time.
  • Cal is officially set to break ground on a renovated softball facility following the final home game of the 2025 season and is estimated to take 16-18 months to complete.
