The Bears are one of seven Top 25 teams to compete in this year's ACC Championships.
BERKELEY – The No. 9 California women's rowing team will compete in its first-ever ACC Championship this weekend at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina. The Golden Bears enter as the No. 2 seed in each of the five races that will be held at the event.

The championship starts Friday at 8:05 a.m. ET with the third varsity eight heats, followed by the varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four and second varsity four. There will be two heats of each event.

On Saturday, the Petite Final will be held prior to the Grand Final of each event with action set to begin at 8:05 a.m. ET. The order of events is the third varsity eight, second varsity four, varsity four, second varsity eight and varsity eight.

The championship will feature seven teams ranked in the latest Pocock/CRCA Poll: Stanford (No. 1), Cal (No. 9), Syracuse (No. 12), Virginia (No. 13), Duke (No. 18), Clemson (No. 23) and North Carolina (No. 25).

The winner of the ACC Rowing Championship will be the school with the most points as determined by the point structure below.
