BETTER AFTER THE BREAK - Cal has won four of its last seven games following a season-long nine-game losing streak. The Bears had their longest break of the season over the first five days in May before starting their current stretch with a May 6 win at Pacific. MORE ABOUT THOSE WALK-OFFS - After posting one walk-off victory during their first 49 games, the Bears did it twice in three days against Boston College.
Jacob French and

Mike Neu spent his junior season as a collegiate player at Miami in 1999 and played an integral role in the Hurricanes winning the College World Series.
