Four California softball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.
 
Infielder Acacia Anders, outfielder Kaylee Pond, and pitchers Anna Reimers and Annabel Teperson earned recognition for their performance on the diamond and in the classroom.
 
Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or start in at least 66 percent of the team's contests. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. All student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 as well.
