Cal football general manager Ron Rivera will be a weekly guest on KNBR 680 AM and 104.5 FM's Murph & Markus Show every Wednesday at 8:50 a.m. PT during the 2025 football season beginning Wednesday, Aug. 27.

Rivera is in his first season as the Cal football general manager and has complete oversight of the program in the newly created role.

Rivera was inducted into the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame in 1994 just over a decade after playing four seasons (1980-83) for the Golden Bears. He capped his collegiate playing career by earning consensus All-American and Pac-10 Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors as a 1983 senior.

Rivera spent 36 seasons in the NFL as a player for Chicago (1984-92) and a coach (1997-2023) with stops in Chicago (twice), Philadelphia, San Diego, Carolina and Washington.
