LAKE ELMO, Minn. – The California women's golf team had its best round of the tournament – including a 3-under par 69 by junior Jasmine Kahler - as the Golden Bears wrapped up play in the season-opening ANNIKA Intercollegiate on Wednesday at Royal Golf Club.

Cal shot 6-over as a team Wednesday and finished in 12th place for the tournament. Kahler and junior Constance Fouillet were the Bears' top individuals, each finishing at 10-over par for the event and in a tie for 41st place.

Kahler recorded six birdies during her round Wednesday, including three in a row on the back nine. She was the only Cal golfer to record an under-par round during the tournament.

The Bears return to the links on Sept. 25 at Menlo Country Club for the Big Match against Stanford in the annual combined match play event with each school's men's and women's teams.
