Bears Continue Busy Stretch At Molly Collegiate

Cal Looks To Continue Strong Performances At Tournament

Story Links

The California women's golf team continues a busy stretch to its fall season as it heads to the Molly Collegiate Invitational in Corvallis, Oregon, this week at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

After hosting the past four editions of The Molly at Bayonet & Black Horse in Seaside, the tournament moves to the Pacific Northwest this year. The event has been kind to the Golden Bears in recent seasons, as they've had a top-2 finish in each of the last two years - including a school record 28-under par 836 in 2023 to tie for the tournament championship. Last year, Cal finished second out of the 11 teams competing.

The Golden Bear lineup includes senior Adora Liu and junior Jasmine Kahler, who each won their matches with their Cal men's golf partner at The Big Match against Stanford last week at Menlo Country Club. Joining them is Michelle Woo, the only freshman to make every lineup of the season so far.

Sophomore Marie Agnes-Fischer and senior Anna Molloy are set to make their second team appearances this season, while sophomore Claudia Lara Miravitlles will be competing as an individual.

Absent from the lineup are junior Constance Fouillet and freshman Camila Zignaigo-Saldarriaga, who will be  teeing off for their home countries at the World Amateur Team Championships in Singapore later this week.

The Bears tee off Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. PT.
