The California football program and the iconic Raider fan group "The Black Hole" have created a new section in the south end zone of California Memorial Stadium – "The Black Bear."

The Golden Bears will welcome the group to Berkeley for the first time on Saturday when Cal hosts Texas Southern at 3 p.m. PT. The Black Bear will have a presence at all home games moving forward.

The section will be designated solely for fans who purchase a ticket through the group's link on CalBears.com.

In addition to a designated seating section, The Black Bear will have a tent in Oski's Village for pregame tailgating. Saturday's festivities begin at noon.

"We are excited to bring our passion, energy and excitement of football to Berkeley," Black Hole Bay Area Chapter President Cisco Ortega said.

The Bears are coming off an impressive season-opening 34-15 victory at Oregon State last Saturday, and will look to become 2-0 for the second straight season against TSU.
