Marks Bears’ First Appearance At JMA Dome

The California women's basketball team (10-8, 1-4 ACC) will look add to its ACC win total when it takes on Syracuse (14-3, 4-2) at the JMA Dome for the first time in program history on Thursday at 3 p.m. PT.   
 
This will be just the third overall meeting between the two teams with Cal having won both of the previous matchups. In last year's 75-69 win at Haas Pavilion, Lulu Twidale knocked down three triples on the way to 13 points in the game.
 
Syracuse is currently 14-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play and is led by fourth-year head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, who is also a graduate of Syracuse. The Orange feature standout freshman Uche Izoje, who has been named the ACC Rookie of the Week four times this season and ranks second on the team in scoring (13.4 points per game). Izoje also leads the team in rebounding (8.6 rebounds per game) and the ACC in blocks at 2.9 blocks per game.
 
Thursday's game will stream on ACCNX with A.J. Myers and Joseph Duffey on the call.
