The 2026 California Football Spring Game, presented by Dosanjh Auto Group, will kick off the newly minted "Lupoi Era" of Golden Bear football on April 18, as Travers Family Head Football Coach Tosh Lupoi and the 2026 Bears invite fans to California Memorial Stadium for an open intrasquad scrimmage, food, activities and a postgame concert featuring 1 Umbrella and Rexx Life Raj. The event will be free to the public, with fans encouraged to RSVP via this link to be entered to win raffle prizes and game tickets, in addition to claiming their own personalized "Committed" graphic.

The Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza will open at 11 a.m. PT, hosting a variety of family-friendly activations. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Activities will include an exclusive Cal equipment gear sale, a kids fun zone, an official fan photo shoot station, the Cameron Institute Summer Reading Challenge info booth, a Cal student store pop-up and more.

A "Blue vs. Gold" scrimmage will take place on the field at approximately 1 p.m. in what will be the first look at quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele's sophomore campaign and the Bears' top-15 transfer portal class ahead of Cal's 2026 opener versus UCLA on September 5. Select players will be available for fan autographs at the end of the game.

Immediately following the conclusion of the scrimmage, a free concert featuring notable Bay Area rappers will be held right on the gridiron. 1 Umbrella's roster of artists – Allblack, 22nd Jim, Lil Bean, Lil Yee and Zaybang – in addition to Bay Area rapper and vocalist Rexx Life Raj are scheduled to bring their talents to Strawberry Canyon.
