Kaylyn Noh qualified for the U.S. Women's Open, shooting a 1-under-par 143 at Bermuda Dunes Country Club on May 13 in the U.S. Women's Open Qualifier.
The one-day, 36-hole tournament featured 69 with the top two players from the field earning a spot in the 2026 U.S. Women's Open, which will take place on June 4-7 at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. The qualification marked Noh's first time qualifying for the U.S. Women's Open, one of five major championships on the LPGA tour.
Noh tied for first place at the Bermuda Dunes qualifying tournament with former University of Pennsylvania golfer Lucy Li, shooting a 71-72-143. Noh is currently competing on the Annika Women's All-Pro Tour, where she has played three events in 2026.
A former standout at Cal, Noh tied for fifth in the ACC Championship during her senior season in 2025. She also advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 California Women's Amateur and won the 2024 Virginia Women's Open. Throughout her three-year career at Berkeley, she played in 21 events, recording five top-20 finishes.
Noh spent her freshman campaign at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, where she was named the Big West Conference's Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year. That season, she won the Big West Conference individual title and added two runner-up finishes.
Noh is the fourth Cal golfer to qualify for the U.S. Women's Open since 2009. Emily Childs qualified for the event in 2013 at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, New York, and again in 2017 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Current head coach
Sofie Aagaard (Andersson) qualified for the tournament in 2010 at the Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, and Sophia Sheridan played in the 2009 tournament at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
