Cal ACC Media Day Contingent Announced

Fletcher, Lupoi, Mohammed, Rivera, Sagapolutele To Be In Charlotte

Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, running back Adam Mohammed and cornerback Ricky Fletcher will join Travers Family Head Football Coach Tosh Lupoi and general manager Ron Rivera in representing Cal at the 2026 ACC Football Kickoff on July 17 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sagapolutele returns to Berkeley after a stellar freshman season. In his rookie campaign, he completed 316-of-492 passes for 3,454 yards with 18 touchdowns while starting all 13 games for the Golden Bears. In 2025, he recorded the second-highest totals for completions, attempts, passing yards and passing touchdowns by a Cal freshman quarterback behind only Jared Goff.

Sagapolutele passed for 200 or more yards in all 13 of his games as a freshman and was the only Power 4 and second FBS player to start his collegiate career with 13 consecutive games of 200 passing yards or more.

Mohammed comes to Cal after two years at Washington. For the Huskies, he played in 13 games and started two. He finished the 2025 season with 523 yards and five touchdowns on 116 carries while adding 17 receptions for 138 yards through the air. He was rated as high as the No. 6 running back in the 2026 transfer portal by both 247Sports and On3.

Fletcher comes to Berkeley after a year at Ole Miss. For the Rebels, he played in 14 games and made three starts at cornerback. He tallied 11 total tackles on the season and registered two pass breakups. Fletcher played in all three College Football Playoff games a season ago and was rated the No. 43 cornerback in the 2026 transfer portal by 247Sports.
