Four members of the California women's tennis team – co-captains Berta Passola Folch and Mao Mushika, Naomi Xu and Laura Cilekova – were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced Friday. This marks the second such distinction for Passola Folch, Mushika and Xu, while Cilekova, a freshman, earns academic all-conference status for the first time.
 
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
