California running back Adam Mohammed has been selected to the preseason watch list for the 2026 Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse, which is an honor presented to the most versatile player in major college football.

Mohammed joined the Golden Bears in the winter after spending the previous two seasons at Washington. In two seasons with the Huskies, Mohammed totaled 716 yards on 148 carries and five touchdowns in 26 games while adding 23 receptions for 179 yards through the air.

For his career, the Glendale, A.Z., native is averaging 4.8 yards per carry.

The Paul Hornung Award is given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission (LSC) to the most versatile player in major college football. The Award was created by the LSC in January 2010 with the support of the Golden Boy himself, Paul Hornung, a native and lifelong resident of Louisville and member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
