Cal To Log Miles In Fall, Stay Close To Home In Spring

The California women's golf team will be a well-traveled bunch during the fall then will stay close to home during the spring, according to the 2026-27 schedule that was announced Thursday.

The Golden Bears open the campaign Sept. 21-22 at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational at the University of Kentucky and will travel to the Midwest later for the Marilyn Smith Sunflower Invitational, hosted by the University of Kansas.

Cal will also join forces with the Bears' men's golf team for the seventh annual Big Match against Stanford on Sept. 24 at Menlo Country Club.

The Bears will only leave Northern California once during the spring regular season, traveling to Valencia for the Bruin Wave Invitational on Feb. 22-23. Cal will take part in the Alice and John Wallace Classic in Monterey (Feb. 13-14), the Juli Inkster Classic in San Francisco (March 9-10) and the Silicon Valley Showcase in Millbrae (March 22-23).

The 2027 ACC Championship is set for April 15-18 in Wilmington, N.C. The NCAA Regionals are set for May 10-12.
