The best part about being on Cal crew is: My teammates. You can look up to the older girls as your mentors and older sisters, and the younger girls teach you to be a leader. And then some are your best friends.
The best part of the University is: Cal pride. It is the pride of a sea of blue and gold at football games and the pride from knowing that you are receiving the best possible education.
My greatest achievement/finest moment was: Winning the Pac-10 Newcomer trophy.
I chose Cal because: It is a big, diverse school that would challenge me academically, as an athlete, and provide opportunities for my future that would not have been possible if not for going to Cal.
What sets Cal apart: It truly does achieve excellence in every single facet that a University has to offer, and for that it has international recognition as a top University.
