CLUB: Competed for Brestyan's Gymnastics as the team captain from 2016-18... Member of the Region 6 Elite Team from 2016-18... Earned best vaulter award at West Point in  2015... Vault national champion and runner up on floor in 2018...National championship medal winner 2015-18.

PERSONAL: Son of Alexander Herwitz and Kathleen Doherty... Siblings include Kiera Doherty-Herwitz (18), who attends Rutgers, Ariel Herwitz (34), and Christian Herwitz (36), who graduated from Harvard... Visited Nova Scotia during the summer of 2018.
