As A Senior (2022): Appeared in 11 meets… competed in the vault finals at the NCAA Championships after qualifying with a score of 14.066 in the preliminary round as part of the all-around competition… set new career highs on parallel bars (13.600) and pommel horse (13.400)… winner of the team’s Keeney-Frey Award.

As A Junior (2021): Earned All-America honors on Vault with his school-record mark of 14.666, good for a tie for fifth at the NCAA Championships...owns three of Cal's top four vault scores in program history...the Bears' top scorer on vault in every meet except for one...also paced Cal on horizontal bar in the last six meets of the campaign, including a season best of 13.300...in addition to vault at NCAAs, posted personal bests in four of the five events he competed in - 13.633 on floor, 12.900 on parallel bars and 12.200 on pommel horse. 

As A Sophomore (2020): Named MPSF Gymnast of the Week on March 3 after posting two career-highs - 14.250 on vault and 13.200 on floor – at the International Collegiate Open at Stanford...also notched a career best on pommel horse (10.550). 

As A Freshman (2019): Competed on rings, vault and high bar...Posted career bests of 14.100 on vault, 13.700 on high bar and 13.400 on rings...Notched his season best on vault at the NCAA Qualifier and his season best on high bar at the MPSF Championships.

CLUB: Member of Sokol Elite Gymnastics and was named MVP (2011, 2015-18)... Participated on Southern Calif. All-Star Team (2010, 2015, 2017-18)... Competed on Region I Select Team (2014-18)... Won vault at 2018 SoCal State Championship... Titled in pommel horse and vault SoCal State Championship in 2017... 2017 high bar Region I champion.

PERSONAL: Integrative biology major... played saxophone in the Walnut High School jazz band... son of Steven and Maria Rickard... has four siblings: Leah, Micah, Abby and Aaron... cousin Kenton Koon is a professional auto-racer (P3 series)
