CAL SUCCESS
At the 2010 NCAA Championships, led off the quartet that placed second in the 800-yard freestyle relay and the team that placed third in the 200-freestyle relay (1:28.97) and anchored the 400-free relay that finished seventh (3:33.88); and she finished seventh in the 50 free (22.43), fifth in the 100 fly (52.11), and clocked a 1:45.87 in the 200 free.
At the 2010 Pac-10 Championships, she won the 100-yard free title with a time of 48.02, took second in the 100 butterfly in an automatic NCAA qualifying time of 51.79 and finished fifth in the 50 free in a time of 22.35...anchored the 800-free relay team that placed third with an automatic NCAA qualifying time (7:01.16) and the 400-medley relay that finished second (3:32.76)...led off the 400-free relay that swam an automatic NCAA qualifying time of 3:14.66 and the 200-free relay that clinched second with a time of 1:28.70.
At the 2009 NCAA Championships, swam on two relays that won in NCAA-, meet-, U.S. Open- and school-record times: the 400-yard free relay (3:09.88) and 800-yard free relay (6:52.69); member of the second-place 200-free and 400-medley relays; placed third in the 100 fly (51.47), sixth in the 100 free (47.98; set PR 47.85 in the prelim), eighth in the 50 free (22.35; set PR 22.06 in prelim).
In the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, claimed third place in the 50-free (22.15) and 100 fly (51.24); was a member of the winning 800-free relay and second-place 200-medley and 200-free relays.
Was on Cal's 200-free relay that beat UCLA in a Spieker Aquatics Complex record time of 1:31.49 (1/31/09).
2008 All-American (100-yard fly; 200-free relay; 400-free relay).
Swam a then-PR 52.85 in the 100 fly at the 2008 NCAA Championships final to earn All-America honors.
Was on the runner-up 200 free relay quartet (then-school record 1:27.52) at the 2008 NCAA Championships.
Was the third leg of a foursome that won and set a Cal then-dual meet record with a 1:32.22 in the 200-free relay at UCLA (2/2/08).
Was on the foursome that set a then-Pac-10 meet record 3:13.22 in the 400-free relay at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships.
Also on the quartet that established a Cal dual-meet record in the 400-free relay with a time of 3:16.54 at the Stanford dual meet (2/16/08).
Clocked then-PRs in the 100 free (48.84) and the 50 free (22.57) at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships.
Her personal marks in the 50 free (22.06) and 100 free (47.85) rank sixth and fourth respectively on Cal's all-time performance charts.
2008 OLYMPICS
Competed in the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing in the 100-meter butterfly and 100 freestyle events...set a Hong Kong record with a 59.35 in the 100-fly heats (placed 30th overall) and recorded a new Hong Kong record in the 100 free with a time of 55.32.
OTHER INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS
Swimming for Hong Kong, took seventh in the 100-meter freestyle in a time of 55.32 in the 2010 Pan Pacific Championships...placed 13th in the 50-meter free in a time of 25.79.
At the 2009 World University Games in Serbia, won the gold medal in the 100-meter free in a meet-record time of 54.35, placed sixth in the 50 free (26.83) and competed in the 200 free.
Represented Hong Kong at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Set Hong Kong records in the long-course 100-meter free (54.35), 50 free (26.03) and 100 fly (59.35).
Competed in the 2005 and 2007 World Championships (Montreal and Melbourne, respectively); also competed in the 2006 Pan Pacific Championships.
