Sophomore (indoors, 2006): Redshirted the outdoor season...indoors, ran a lifetime-best 7.56 seconds in the 60-meter dash at the Arizona-California Challenge...recorded a long jump of 5.81 meters (19-0.75) at the Arizona California Challenge.
Freshman (2005): Redshirted the indoor season...outdoors, ran season-best 12.01 at the Nevada meet.
Volleyball: In 2006, Pressey, who was a junior for Cal volleyball last fall, earned second-team All-America honors from the AVCA...named AVCA All-Region... she was named 2006 CoSIDA District 8 third-team all-academic...was named to the All-Pac-10 team three times (2004-06)...she earned a spot on the Pac-10 All-Freshman team in 2004...collected Pac-10 Player of the Week honors in each of the last three season.
High School: A graduate of Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, Fla....entering Cal, her records included 19-7 in the long jump...state champion in the 100m in 2003...also lettered in volleyball...academic All-American.
Personal: Born on June 6, 1986 in Tulsa, Okla...parents are Paul and Elizabeth Pressey...father, Paul, played college basketball at Tulsa, and is a former NBA player (Milwaukee, San Antonio, Golden State) and assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors from 1992-94...mother, Elizabeth, also played basketball at Tulsa...has not declared a major, but is interested in pre-law.
