• Lauded by ACVA as a Second-Team All-American with a berth on the All-Pacific Region Team

• The Oct. 4 Pac-10 Player of the Week and the Aug. 30 Cal Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

• Honored as the MVP of both the Cal Molten Classic and Hilton Garden Inn Classic

• Climbed into eighth place for all-time career kills with 1,239 and 10th for attacks with 3,085

• Produced the third highest single-season record for kills with 617 and had the second-highest output in a single season for attacks with 1,454

• Became just the third Bear to reach the 600-kill plateau in a season

• Her 5.23 kills per set ranked her first on the squad, second in the Pac-10 and third in the nation

As a Sophomore (2009):

• Appeared in all 32 matches and 122 sets for the Bears as she earned Pac-10 all-conference honorable mention and all-academic honorable mention

• Reached double digits in kills in 19 matches

• Notched double digits in digs in 12 matches

• Logged eight double-doubles

• Recorded a season-high 18 kills against Oregon State, Nov. 13

• Matched a career high with 19 digs at Washington, Nov. 7, in a five-set upset victory

• Set new career marks for solo blocks (four at UCLA, Oct. 3), block assists (six at USC, Oct. 2) and total blocks (six at USC, Oct. 2)

• Ranked second on the team in kills (2.83 kps) and points (3.27 pps)

• Helped lead the USA A2 Blue Team to a bronze medal at the 2009 USA Adult Open Volleyball Championships in Indianapolis

As a Freshman (2008):

• Earned Pac-10 All-Freshman team honors

• Appeared in all 33 matches

• Ranked third on the team in total kills with 277 and in kills per set (2.43 kps)

• Posted a double-double performance with 10 kills and 12 digs in her seventh match (Sept. 13 vs. Notre Dame)

• Set career high marks for kills (21), attacks (50) and digs (19) in a double-double performance against UCLA Nov. 21

• Ranked fourth on the team in total digs with 177 (1.55 dps)

High School/Club:

• One of Volleyball Magazine's Fab 50 high school players, as a senior at St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley, Calif., Murrey earned 2007 Bay Shore Athletic League MVP honors for the third consecutive season

• 2007 California Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year, first-team All-Bay Shore League

• Played in the 2007 World Championships for the USA girl's youth national team

• As a junior in 2006, selected Bay Shore Athletic League MVP, Contra Costa Times Player of the Year, first-team All-Bay Shore League, PrepVolleyball Dream Team, Norceca World Championship MVP, Norceca World Championship Best Spiker Award, Norceca World Championship Top Scorer Award

• As a sophomore in 2005, selected Bay Shore Athletic League MVP and Prep Volleyball's Sophomore Top 79 List

• Tarah Lynnette Murrey was born March 28, 1990, in Santa Clara, Calif.

• Parents are Douglas and Barbara Murrey

• Father played basketball for San Jose State and was selected in the ninth-round of the 1981 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors

• Mother played volleyball for San Jose State in 1978-79

• Has two brothers, Jerryck, Russell and a sister, Brittney

• Brittney was the starting setter for UC Riverside's volleyball team
