Biography
Cal Success:
• Redshirted the 2016 season to prepare for the Summer Olympics with her native Spain
• Earned ACWPC All-America honors in each of her first two seasons at Cal - Honorable Mention as a freshman and Second Team honors as a sophomore
• All-MPSF First Team selection as a sophomore and was named to the MPSF All-Newcomer Team as a freshman
• Named MVP of the 2015 MPSF Tournament
• Twice named to the NCAA Championships All-Tournament Second Team
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic Excellent honors in 2015
High School/National Success:
• Helped Spain to a fifth-place finish at the 2016 Summer Olympics, tying for second among all goal-scorers with 15
• Prior to 2016 Summer Olympics, had medaled in five consecutive five international tournaments she has played with Spain
• Named Best Scorer at 2016 World League Super Final, helping Spain take the silver medal
• Led club team, CN Mataro, to the LEN Trophy, considered one of the most prestigious club tournaments in Europe
• Led Spain to the Gold Medal at the 2014 European Championships in Budapest, Hungary
• Ranked second at the European Championships with 16 goals and first with 12 steals
• Helped Spain take the Bronze Medal at the 2014 FINA Women's Water Polo World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia
• Scored 18 goals at the FINA World Cup and was named to the FINA World Cup All-Star Team
• Won Gold Medal at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona
• Won Silver Medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London
• Won Gold Medal at the 2011 World Junior Championships in Trieste, Italy
