ANNAPOLIS, MD -
The Cal men's swimming and diving program, winners of two straight NCAA team titles, was bestowed additional honors Thursday (June 7) when the 2011-12 College Swimming & Diving Honors selected the Golden Bears as the top 2012 Male Championship Performance, associate head coach Greg Meehan as the 2012 Assistant Coach of the Year and strength and conditioning coach Nick Folker as the recipient of the 2012 Impact Honor.

Additionally, the Cal women's swimming and diving team was honored for their championship performance, and Kristen Cunnane was named Assistant Coach of the Year.
Earlier, Cal head men's swimming and diving coach David Durden was named the NCAA Coach of the Meet for the third consecutive year, while junior standout Tom Shields was named the 2012 NCAA Swimmer of the Meet.
