HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At De La Salle High School in Concord teamed-up with fellow Cal player Jason Dennis to lead his team to two straight North Coast Section Championships and two-year record of 47-7...batted .425 as a junior and .335 as a senior...in the summer of 1997 earned all-tournament honors at the Sunbelt Classic in Shawnee, OK…in the summer of 1998 played for the Oakland Expos, batting .516 with five doubles, three home runs and 19 RBI…in the summer of 1999 played for the Santa Barbara Foresters...majoring in social welfare...parents are Bill and Christine Meyer...born December 15, 1978 in Monterey, CA.
