Will be a key performer for the Bears as one of the team's most experience players...is talented offensively at two-meters...also has a strong outside shot and outstanding ballhandling skills...AS A JUNIOR (2001): Scored 11 goals on the year...was named MPSF All-Academic...AS A SOPHOMORE (2000): Recorded five goals...AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (1999): Scored 13 goals, including leading Cal with two goals in 8-2 victory versus UC Davis...HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Miramonte High School played for Bear coach Peter Asch and was a three-time all-league selection and a first team NorCal pick...as a three-year team captain helped lead her team to three-straight league championships and two-straight North Coast Section titles...also competed three years on the varsity swim team...was recruited by Stanford, UCLA, Harvard and Purdue before selecting Cal...majored in American studies and is now in the Cal Graduate School of Education, pursuing a masters in the Athletes and Academic Achievement program...parents are Joe and Isabel Lane...born April 23, 1979 in San Francisco, CA.
