High School: Lampley averaged 12.9 ppg, 10.9 rpg and 3 bpg during an injury shortened senior season at St. Francis DeSales HS ... missed much of 1996 97 with a broken bone in his foot, but recovered in time to return to action for the state playoffs ... team finished fourth in the Illinois state tournament in the Class A division ... rated as the No. 15 small forward in the country by Hoop Scoop and was an honorable mention All America pick by Street & Smithis and Athlon ... was a two-time all-state and all-area performer ... as a junior, averaged 21.8 ppg, 10.3 rpg and 3.5 bpg ... once had a game with 38 points and 19 rebounds ... played football during his freshman year.
