Has been a key player for the Bears the past three years and is primed for an outstanding senior season...is one of the team's top shooters, as well as an excellent passer...a strong team player who has proven to be a clutch performer with several match-winning goals...AS A JUNIOR (1998): Was Cal's third-leading scorer with 30 point, and led the Bears with four, two-point goals...was Cal's leading scorer in five matches and scored three goals in the Bears three MPSF Tournament matches...scored the winning goal with 2:26 in sudden death overtime to defeat Pacific, 8-7, Oct. 25 in Stockton...was named second team All-Southern California Tournament Sept. 19-20...AS A SOPHOMORE (1997): Scored 24 goals on the season...had a team-leading two goals in a 9-6 loss to eventual national champion Pepperdine Oct. 19 at the NorCal Tournament...scored three goals in the Bears three matches at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament...AS A FRESHMAN (1996): Had an outstanding year as a true freshman and was named The Daily Californian's Freshman Athlete of the Year, finishing third on the team in scoring with 25 goals...in his first collegiate match, knocked in the game-winning score with 2:31 left in sudden death overtime to secure a season-opening win (8-7) versus Pacific at the Southern California Tournament...also knocked in the game-winner with 27 seconds left in the fifth-place match versus UC Irvine (8-7), Oct. 13 at the NorCal Tournament...scored three goals at the MPSF Tournament...HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Was a member of the National Junior Team (along with Cal teammate Robert Palmer) in the summer of 1997, traveling to Cuba, Germany and Hungry...at Harvard-Westlake High School was a two-time All-American in water polo and an All-American in swimming (100 breaststroke) in 1995...earned league MVP honors in water polo as a junior and senior...was on the National Youth Team that traveled to Canada in 1994...was a member of the Cal club team that traveled to Greece in the summer of 1998...had a 3.76 high school GPA...considered Stanford and UCLA before selecting Cal...majoring in integrative biology...parents are Chong Man and Susie Won...born November 12, 1978 in Brooklyn, NY.
