Cal Success

• Was a member of Cal's 800 free relay (anchor leg) that was national runners-up at the 2012 NCAA championships

• Earned honorable mention All-America honors with 11 th place finishes in both the 200 (1:44.17) and 400 IM (3:44.65) at the 2012 NCAA championships

• Placed third in the 400 IM and seventh in the 1,650 free at both the 2010 and 2011 Pac-10 championships

• Has the school's fourth-best all-time mark in the 400 IM (3:44.65) and seventh-best mark in the 200 IM (1:44.57)

National Success

• Placed 12th in the 400 IM (4:20.39) at the 2009 U.S. Open Championships

• Was a member of the United States National Youth Team in 2008-09

• Was on the winning 800 free relay at the 2008 Speedo Junior National Championships, along with fellow Cal sophomore Nick Trowbridge

• Was a 13-time High School All-American at Saratoga High School, including a seven-time All-American as a senior in 2009

• Is the CIF Central Coast Section record-holder in the 200 IM (1:46.96) and 500 free (4:21.54)

• Swam anchor on a 400 free relay that broke the national high school record (3:00.68)
