A prolific prep running back who also excelled as a cornerback...was the
second leading rusher in the state of California last season with 3039
yards on 260 carries (11.7 average) during the regular season...also led
the state with 47 touchdowns...including playoffs, finished with 3,260
yards and 49 TDs...had several amazing games including an 18-carry,
461-yard game against Panorama City HS in which he scored 7 TDs on runs of
71, 2, 57, 40, 44, 70 and 87 yards...also had a 466-yard 7-TD game, a
354-yard 6-TD game (9 carries), and a 288-yard 5-TD game (on 8
carries)...had a streak of 4 straight games with 7 touchdowns in each
game...was the CIF Player of the Year in his division and also was a member
of the PrepStar Western Region team as the No. 14 running back
prospect...also earned USA Today honorable mention All-America
honors...gained 2348 yards and scored 25 touchdowns as a junior on
Cathedral's 13-1 team that won the CIF section title...averaged 13.1 yards
per carry as a junior...also had 118 tackles and 5 interceptions as a
junior...chose Cal after considering Nevada-Las Vegas and San Jose State.
