CAL CAREER (Career Stats): Played in 35 games with 10 starts during his five seasons with the program from 2008-12 that included a full season out of action due to injury in 2011 and another in which he did not play when he redshirted as a true freshman in 2008 ... contributed 14 rushes for 53 yards, nine catches for 55 yards and a touchdown and one kick return for 11 yards as he totaled 146 all purpose yards ... made 12 tackles.

2012 (Game-By-Game Stats): Played in 12 games with five starts at fullback after missing the entire 2011 season and 2012 spring practices due to a knee injury suffered during training camp in 2011 ... picked up a pair of team honors, including the Joe Roth Award given to the player best exemplifying courage, attitude and sportsman ship, as well as the Senior Lifter of the Year ... posted career bests with 13 rushes for 51 yards and nine receptions for 55 yards, with his rushing numbers both fifth on the team ... totaled 106 all purpose yards ... had career bests of three rushes for 12 yards vs. Southern Utah ... rushed twice for 11 yards including an 11-yard rush that was the longest of his career and also added a career-high-tying two catches for 13 yards at Ohio State ... also had two rushes for nine yards and a career-high-tying two catches for 10 yards vs. UCLA ... had two rushes for seven yards at Washington State and carried one time at Oregon State (six yards) as well as vs. Arizona State, Washington and Oregon, with two yards in each of the three latter contests ... had single catches at USC (career-high 13 yards on a career-long 13-yarder), vs. Washington (12 yards), at Utah (six yards), vs. Stanford (5 yards) and at Oregon State (-4 yards) ... had two tackles with single stops in back-to-back games vs. Stanford and at Utah.

2011: Missed the entire season after injuring his knee during training camp ... had been an early candidate for the Burlsworth Trophy given annually to the nation's most outstanding player who began his collegiate career as a walk-on.

2010 (Game-By-Game Stats): Spent most of the season as the team's top fullback, playing in 11 games and starting five ... had a single catch in each of the first three contests vs. UC Davis (season-high 11 yards), vs. Colorado (eight yards) and at Nevada (four-yard TD reception for the first score of his career) ... had his lone run of the campaign for two yards in the next game at Arizona and then his fourth and final reception of the season for a four-yard gain in the following game he played vs. UCLA (missed the previous contest at USC with an injury) ... posted single tackles four times - vs. UC Davis, vs. Colorado, vs. UCLA and at Washington State.

2009 (Game-By-Game Stats): Played in 12 games off the bench primarily on special teams and also as a backup fullback ... had one kick return for 11 yards and six tackles ... 11-yard kick return came vs. Washington State ... had a career-high-tying two tackles in back-to-back victories at UCLA and vs. Washington State, while recording one in each of the team's final two contests at Washington and in the Poinsettia Bowl vs. Utah.

2008: Redshirted ... did not play.

PENINSULA HS: Selected first-team All-Bay League and to the Daily Breeze All-Area squad as a 2007 senior when he recorded 110 tackles and 7.0 tackles for loss, while also averaging 30.0 yards per catch on 14 receptions (three touchdowns) for a total of 420 receiving yards ... added All-Bay League honors in wrestling.

PERSONAL: Full name is Eric James Stevens ... born October 1, 1989 ... parents are Mark Stevens and Helene Mink ... the younger brother of former Cal tight end Craig Stevens, who currently plays in the NFL with Tennessee and has seen action in 73 games with the Titans over the past five seasons from 2008-12 after being selected in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the organization ... graduated from Cal in December of 2012 with a bachelor's degree in legal studies.
