High School/Personal: Had a big senior season with 62 catches for 984 yards (15.9 average) and 16 touchdowns...also returned punts for TDs from 75 and 68 yards and had a 95-yard kickoff return for a TD called back due to a penalty...received seven votes in the Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West poll...earned SuperPrep All-Far West honors, ranking as the No. 33 prospect (and third receiver) in the region...also was on the Tom Lemming Prep Report All-Far West team as the No. 60 overall prospect and on the PrepStar Western Region list as the No. 13 receiver...earned first team All-CIF honors and was a first team South Bay selection by the LA Times...had a good junior season with 34 catches for 486 yards and five TDs...once had 16 catches in one game, tying a school record...also ran track at Beverly Hills HS ... chose Cal after considering Wisconsin, Michigan State, Arizona and Arizona State...parents are Paul Bennett and Vivian Burgess...born Oct. 17, 1979 in Los Angeles, CA.
